Americans have marked the third Saturday in April as Earth Day for more than 50 years. Earth Day celebrations are intended to raise awareness of the need to protect Earth’s natural resources for future generations. As Christian, our obligation to be good stewards of the planet that God gave us come from the Genesis command to “till the earth and keep it.”
